“…we left no stone unturned.”

We had a fabulous trip to Morocco. It was complete in every sense, we left no stone unturned. At the very least we learned to enjoy the mint tea that was offered everywhere. Youseff was a superb guide and driver. He was sensitive to our needs at every point and made sure that we were comfortable and happy. He was very knowledgeable and enhanced our enjoyment by filling in the background and history of
what we saw. So it felt like we really got to know Morocco. His ability to guide us through the intricate alleys of the medinas was astonishing to us. In addition, he is a supremely decent human being whom we trusted completely. The people of Morocco were very
welcoming to us as Americans. They love Obama and that affection rubbed off on us.

At Riad Kniza, in particular, we were made to feel like special guests. It seemed as if we were doing them a favor to allow people to provide for us. The riads in which we stayed were unique and special. It was a treat to see what each one was like. Even though the structure was similar with the interior courtyard, each riad was
distinctive.

The very best meal we had was at Riad Meziana where we were treated to a chicken tagine with carmelized onions and raisins made specially for us. Also the breakfast was the best egg ever.

We loved our visit to the Hammam Alhambra that Youssef recommended in Marrakech. The cooking class at Cafe Clock with Souad was great. I fell in love with my camel Azerbad when we rode over the magnificent dunes to see the sunset. An amazing sight in the medina of Fez was a dog asleep with a cat sleeping on top of him. The mosque at
Casablanca, the blue doors and walls of Chefchaouen, the amazing Dades Gorge and the Todra Gorge, the Atlas Mtns, Volubulis, wandering through the medinas, the crafts of Fez; There is nothing I would have missed. I feel like my mind has been expanded.

We would absolutely encourage anyone interested to make this trip with Morocco Tours/Experience It Tours.
