Thanks to Moroccotours, we had a fantastic tour of Morocco: Fez, Volubilis, Menkes, Rabat and Marrakesh.
The driver, Hamid, went above and beyond his assignment, always putting the clients’ desires and concerns first. In Rabat where we had to attend the wedding on time, he even did a “dry run” to make sure of the way to the reception area which is in a private residential area. Even had the car washed before going to the wedding.
After knowing our taste and budget, he took us to the best place to shop and eat. Three of our lunches in Meknes, Rabat and Marrakesh were in local restaurants recommended by him. They were all excellent.
Ahmed the guide in Fez was excellent very knowledgeable and pleasant.
Fasal, the guide in Rabat, was also very good and funny, he really knows his town, he even took us into his humble home. The last guide in Marrakesh was just O.K. too young and more interested in young female tourists than his clients.
The Highlight of the trip is something that Nobody, including Moroccotours could arrange! meeting the Queen and the crown prince at the wedding party! The queen is the favorite cousin of the groom and honored the wedding party by her presence despite the political tension in the capital, There must be as much secret service the guests!!! Unfortunately we were not allowed to take picture of her or with her. But we spent 4 hours in her presence. A beautiful woman ( 33 yr).
In conclusion, a great trip thanks to your organization. We will definitely recommend Morocco Tours to our friends and will be glad to serve a reference. Hamid has to be commended, he did an excellent job.
