Ahmed [our driver] was fantastic, broke up the long drives with lots of visual sights and stops that gave us a wonderful insight into Morocco. Ahmed gave us just the right amount of independent free time and scheduled tours. He quickly realized we were not your typical tourist types and loved the off the beaten track. We fell in love with the Country and the people.
All of the licenced guides were great that took us on our tours and what they didn’t tell us of historical facts, we supplemented with our books to round out our experiences. Some of the highlights were definitely a sea side lunch in Rabat, ALL of Fes, could definitely spend more time there. The Riad Fes was perfect, right out of a dream and so charming, we took advantage of the spa too, the entire staff was top notch. Found a delightful new restaurant Dar Dor near the Riad for a delicious dinner with classic ambiance’. The “Glamping” in the desert from the dromedary ride to the after dinner entertainment was superb, every minute planned well from sunset to heated blankets and the return to Erfoud and the breath taking scenic views of the Mountain villages in the High Atlas with the snow caps in the back ground.
Definitely would highly recommend and will plan to come back to see more.
