The trip was exceptional – we saw and learned more than we ever anticipated.
A key thing that made our trip outstanding was our driver, Zack. He was knowledgeable and personable and went out of his way to be sure we were having the best experience possible.
While we enjoyed every minute of our trip, there were some highlights:
– we especially liked Fez: the Riad Myra, the Restaurant Dar Hatim, and the guided City Tour with the excellent tour guide that Zack secured for us. On the tour we were fascinated with the craftsmen and their souks.
– the Sahara experience was fabulous – the scenery, the enthusiastic staff, and the camel ride at dawn. The rain in the desert was unexpected but the locals were so happy to receive rain that we couldn’t help but share their joy.
– the scenery as we drove from Erfoud to Marrakech was breathtaking- from desert to gorges to mountains.
– the Jardines Majorelle was a beautiful quiet spot in the middle of the hectic chaos of Marrakech.
– the food. We had tajines and bread everywhere we went and never had a bad meal!
We would definitely recommend Morocco Tours. We found the company easy to communicate with and they did an excellent job of arranging all the details.
