La Maison bleue is a palace built in 1356 of the Hegira (1915). It is the ancestral home of the late Si Mohammed El Abbadi, prominent astrologer, famous judge and professor at Qaraouiyine’s University. Irish pop band, U2’s Bono has stayed here among many other famous stars.
A rare library belonging to the late Si Mohammed are is rare and interesting. A haven of peace, this house is located in the heart of the Medina of Fez, a jewel of the Arab world.
Riad Maison Bleue was created in a house dating from the 19th century whose former owner, was the late Moulay Bel Arbi El Alaoui, famous judge and professor of theology. It was also the home where the late Aziz Lahbabi, Moroccan known philosopher was born.
