The trip was fabulous. For most of my life Morocco was on my bucket list and I was not disappointed. A few of the highlights of the trip:
- Visit to Hasson II in Casablanca
- Seeing roman ruins in Volubilis
- Pottery coop in Fes
- The Fes Market/Medina
- The incredible architectural of Morocco
- Scenery in the high Atlas Mountains
- Riding the 4X4 in the Sahara
I felt like I truly got to see everything that I wanted to see in Morocco. The local guides were excellent. Every single accommodation was first class particularly considering I was only scheduled to stay in Riads/Hotels rated as 3.5 stars. Overall the food at the Riads was excellent and the service was extraordinary. The printed materials provided by Morocco Tours was very informative and helpful.
My driver who I called Zak was terrific. He went out of his way to make sure that I saw the important sights and was constantly looking after my welfare. Several times he referred me to a local guide who allowed me additional information about a local sight. For example, I requested to see how a local family lived and he made arrangements for me to visit a home in a Kasbah that was over 700 years old. Zak also did a great job directing me to restaurants for lunch.
I would definitely recommend Morocco Tours to anyone wanting to fully experience Morocco. Thanks again for providing such a great experience.
