Thanks for the note, we had a GREAT time in Morocco. What a wonderful country, full of surprises. The tour exceeded our expectations. The Riads were amazing, some more than others, but all in all very good. The food was great; we had excellent dining everywhere. I don’t think anyone in our group had any problems with the food. We have certainly made some memories and time well spent!
More specifically to your questions.
- I think the Riads, the wide variety of landscapes (mentally we were expecting more desert and less green), my personal highlight was the sunset in the dunes, just breathtaking. The dune bashing with the ATV”s was great, Jeanie and I were 2 up on a quad and in hindsight a buggy would have been better, but that was really fun. The Roman ruins were amazing. The cooking class in Marrakech was great fun and excellent food! The Souks and medinas were interesting….crowded, but worth seeing. (reminded me of the souk in Oman)
- We could not have had a better guide than Mohammed, he was very thoughtful, intelligent, knew his stuff. He was careful to guide us where we should go, we felt right at home with him and he definitely looked out for us. I would highly recommend him.
- Service has been excellent, from start to finish. Jeanie and I may look into another trip with you all in the future. It was particularly thoughtful for Jill to meet us in Fes at the Riad, it was great to get to meet her.
- And yes, of course we would recommend moroccotours to anyone!
Again, can’t say enough good about the trip, exceeded our expectations! With the global uncertainty, we were a bit concerned with traveling, but the re-assurance we had from Bethany and others before we left helped. In hindsight, we never felt unsafe or unwelcome at all. Also want to give a shoutout to Abdul, our driver. He was great and thank goodness he was navigating and driving in that traffic.

We couldn’t agree more with our travel companions. The trip was amazing in every way.
The riads and hotels were all beautiful and the people working at them were all friendly and helpful. Maybe because we were at Riad Myra for the longest stay but we especially liked Ibraham.
The food at all of our accommodations was wonderful and Mohammed always recommended great places when we weren’t eating at the riads. The only problem we had with the food was eating too much!
The van transporting us was very nice and spacious and Abdul was a very good driver and always had a smile on his face when we returned to the van. I can’t image having a better guide than Mohammed. He was always available and helpful. He went out of his way to pick up some things we didn’t get around to purchasing while we were at the cooking class on the last day. All the local guides that Mohammed arranged did a great job and were both informative and entertaining.
The service from Experience Tours has been fabulous. From the beginning talking with you about what we wanted to do. Then Bethany always quickly responding to emails. Also, all of the information about Morocco that you sent was very helpful. And lastly, it was so nice to see Jill smiling as we pulled up to our riad in Fes.
There were so many great things about the trip to Morocco that it is hard to pick a favorite.
