Best Arrival City in Morocco?

For those looking to travel to Morocco, you will be interested trying to figure out what is the best way to arrive and depart Morocco. Since most travelers come by air, they would be looking to come to one of the major international airports. If you are coming across by ferry, you would have a few choices. Let’s have a look at the best ways to access Morocco.

Budget Airline
Most of the budget airlines are flying in to Marrakech; with a few now using Fes. If you are looking to save money, then jumping a cheap flight into Marrakech and out of Fes would be a great option. The only issue with budget airlines is that they offer small luggage allowance.

Standard Airlines
For those looking to fly with a standard carrier, you will most likely find the best tickets to Casablanca. Although there is not a lot to see in Casablanca, you could head straight to Rabat or Marrakech on your first night. Casablanca is by far the best access point for most travelers.

Money is not an issue
For those of you who are not worried about finances, you could then choose from many different airports around the country. You may want to fly into Marrakech and depart from Fes. The Rabat airport would allow you to miss Casablanca but still head north to Chefchaouen or Meknes.

Tangier is the easiest access point by ferry. Some travelers come across to Ceuta, the spanish portion, but then must cross the border into Morocco. Our private drivers are not able to come into Ceuta, so Tangier is the best option. Tangier now has 2 ports, so make sure you let your driver know what port you will be arriving at

Travel to Morocco is very easy…with a little planning, you can have a tour of a lifetime.
