“…all a delight.”

Thank you, we are back home and, yes, enjoying the memories of our time in Morocco. We both really enjoyed the experience – it was one of our better holidays and was probably something we should have done years ago.

It is always good to see your name being held up on a sign as you depart Customs. Tariq made us feel very welcome and was very anxious that we had had a comfortable trip and that all was in order. He proved to be a good driver, knew his way around all the back streets and byways of the towns and was always there when we needed him as a guide, driver or just someone to talk to about his country and its customs. We would have no hesitation recommending him or referring him to others. Please pass on our best regards to him and thank him again on our behalf.

The highlights: Where do you start? I guess the first of many was wandering around our section of Casablanca and looking at the marvelous architecture. The accommodation was a highlight and something new to us who are so used to anonomous chain hotels. The Casablanca hotel, Le Doge, the riads, the kasbahs and the tent were all a delight and were certainly a highlight. The souqs in Fez and Marrakech were amazing as were the ruins at Volubilis and, of course, the desert dunes were just magic. Other delights were the various oases, the countryside generally and even Ricks Cafe. We went to the Cafe expecting not to enjoy it but it was rather good and a nice way to finish the tour.

Company service: We could not fault the company service. Everything that was promised and was supposed to happen just happened. That is what you hope for on a tour and that was what was delivered. Congratulations on your company’s organization and the way it carries out its business. The car and driver, the tours, the hotels and all the extras were delivered with a minimum of fuss and certainly left us to focus on enjoying ourselves.

Possibly one area we would comment on would be the guide we were allocated in Fez. Whilst he was certainly knowledgebale of the city he did seem much more interested in speeding past the points of interest and guiding us to retail outlets. We understand that guides derive a percentage of their income from commissions on sales to their clients and, as such, we are prepared to subject ourselves to the salesmen but to have almost the whole day being delivered from one outlet to another was a little over the top. We mentioned this to Tariq and to his credit, the guides we had at Volubils, Todra Georges and in Marrakech focussed much more on showing us the sights and we enjoyed it all the more.

In summary, we would have no hesitation in recommending your company’s services to our friends, in fact we have already done so. We have spoken to several people here in Riyadh and also one or two friends in Australia who are contemplating visits to Morocco.

Thank you again & best regards from us both,

Linda & Michael (Australia), October 2012
