“…a wonderful experience in Morocco.”

Yes, I would definitely recommend Morocco Tours/Experience It!Tours! We had a wonderful experience in Morocco. Most of all we enjoyed Younes and he really took care of us and looked after us, which we very much appreciated.

The riad in Fes was amazing! And the food there was unbelievably good. The staff really couldn’t have been more wonderful. When we showed up the second day and asked them to prepare a light impromptu lunch, they made us the most gorgeous meal. The guide that Younes set us up with, Idris, was wonderful and a great person to show us around Fes. I can’t say enough great things about this part of the experience. Younes showed us around the town that night, got us a horse carriage ride, kept us entertained and laughing a lot. The girls really enjoyed him. And he went around on a Sunday and found some medicine for my daughter when she got a stomach ache. He always stepped in with dirhams when needed (if we didn’t have the right amount or whatnot) and helped explain or negotiate the conversions as needed.

Our last night in Chefchouen (sp) was nice and relaxing. What a beautiful city! We liked the accommodations, which were very comfortable — though there was a typical shower that wouldn’t drain. But I’m always so happy when the air conditioning works when I’m overseas in July!! The restaurant at which we ate that evening was okay, but the chicken was raw inside so I didn’t eat it. We loved walking around town. We appreciated Younes and the hotel staffers carrying our bags up and down all the steps and hills all along the way.

Younes was so kind to get us to our ferry and actually walk us inside and make sure everything was okay. His attention was more than we expected, but everything we could have hoped for! I think you guys must do a very good, thorough job vetting your drivers and having them understand the kind of experience you want the customers to have. I can’t imagine how many times they’ve driven the same route and said the same things to different tourists, but Younes gave no sense of that: he just acted like he enjoyed us.

The main reason I booked with “Experience It” was I felt it would be safe and we’d have nice accommodations, that we’d be able to trust things would be worked out, and if we needed any help there would be local staffers who could help—and we were not disappointed! I thought I’d visit Morocco once, but now my daughter is already begging me to go back.
