We had a fantastic time in Morocco and I think will definitely go again. Thanks to you and your whole team for organising.
Everything was great, however, we probably most enjoyed the madness of Marrakesh and the night in the desert. Driving through the high Atlas was also spectacular. We also enjoyed the contrast and the competitiveness between Fes and Marrakesh. We would call that a Sydney/Melbourne thing!
We started and ended in Marrakesh. We enjoyed Marrakesh both times, but particularly the second time when we were more relaxed about finding our way around and more relaxed about haggling in the souks.
I can’t believe how many of our friends and family thought we should be more concerned about security. Frankly I would rate all of the places we visited in Morocco to be safer than most major world cities and certainly felt safer than some parts of Eastern Europe.
All of the Morocco Tours organised itinerary went off without a hitch:
– the hotels tent and food, where excellent
– the drivers where great and spoke good English and drove safely. the vehicles were modern.
– all of the payment and pre tour organising worked well
This is the very first time we have ever been on anything that even looks like a tour, we normally travel completely independently, so I was a bit concerned about being “managed”. The customised nature meant we didn’t feel locked in. The drivers clearly have some clear ideas on what works on things like meal stops etc, but generally speaking we managed to get the agenda we wanted.
