“Very positive from beginning to end”

We enjoyed our vacation in Morocco. Our driver, Younes, treated us like family. He was very professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. We would highly recommend Younes to anyone traveling in Morocco.

Our experience with Morocco tours was very positive from the beginning to the end. We had a problem with our return flight being cancelled. The Fes office was happy to help and we were able to use the phone to rebook.

Every riad, kasbah and hotel were top notch. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The service was exceptional the food was plentiful and delicious. All of our guides were informative and answered all of our questions. We feel that we have a better understanding of Morocco and it’s people. (Read More…)

“A very good experience”

The trip was a very good value when compared to other luxury, guided tours. The hotels were all good, particularly the two Riads, which were fabulous. The whole desert trek thing was perhaps our highlight, although we loved Fes as well. Riad Kniza was our favorite lodging. (Read More…)

April 20 – Come and Visit

This past week in Morocco continues to be: “Life as normal.” There is no sign of unrest and we have tons of visitors in Morocco. Because of the unrest in all of the other North Africa countries, Morocco has become the “safe” country! We have received many travelers who were booked for the other countries but have come to Morocco because it is secure. Please read on tripadvisor what our clients are saying about their times and the situation in Morocco. If you are interested in experiencing Morocco, now is the time…

“Morocco tours was professional…”

We had a wonderful, memorable time, and yes we would recommend your company highly to anyone. Hamid was excellent, extremely accommodating and helpful, and our various guides were also very good. (Read More…)

“Our trip was spectacular – we loved it”

Thought I’d give you a bit of feedback now that we are back home after our wonderful trip.

Ahmed was fabulous. He is knowledgeable, punctual, and an all around good person. We cannot imagine that any other driver would have been so terrific. I could go on and on but I trust you already know this. But if you’d like us to write more, just say the word. (Read More…)

“One of our most memorable holidays”

Your office staff was very reassuring regarding the political situation in Morocco as we managed to book flights just as things were heating up in North Africa and their assessments were very accurate. While the rest of North Africa was blowing up, Morocco was extremely stable and we were impressed with the amount of building going on and the infrastructure, schools and organization we saw in our travels.

Our driver, Youssef, was extremely informative, a considerate driver and his recommendations for lunch were always spot on. He was a wonderful ambassador for his country and we genuinely enjoyed our time with him. We really appreciated the information about the two gates at airport as we were able to locate him quite quickly on arrival and may have had greater trouble without the instructions. (Read More…)

April 8 – Prince Charles Visits Morocco

Living in the Fes medina is always full of surprises…2 days ago some of our clients were drinking tea on the Talaa Kabira (main street in the Fes Medina) and who should walk past…Camilla! Yes, Camilla of Prince Charles. The King had hosted Prince Charles in Morocco for a few days and Camilla was enjoying a visit to our wonderful city.

As we consider the safety of Morocco — I guess if Camilla is able to walk around Fes and enjoy the exotic city…then it seems very much safe for the normal traveler.

As we look forward to another weekend, Morocco seems to be back to its normal self. Come and enjoy this amazing country.

“We indeed “experienced” Morocco.”

Izak, Loryn, myself and Albert (left) set off to Morocco late on Monday evening, 14 March 2011 on Iberian Airlines Flight IB 6050, unaware of the glorious time which awaited us. On the 15th, we were met by Jamal Ghannam, our driver for the next two weeks, who turned out to be an exceptional young man. He not only crept right into our hearts with his lovely personality and intelligent conversation, but also impressed us with his punctuality, cautious driving and personal attention to detail.

Our trip was organised by Jeff Wilson of “Morocco Tours”, an affiliate of the American-based company “Experience It Tours”. (Read More…)

“We had a fantastic tour of Morocco”

Thanks to Moroccotours, we had a fantastic tour of Morocco: Fez, Volubilis, Menkes, Rabat and Marrakesh.

The driver, Hamid, went above and beyond his assignment, always putting the clients’ desires and concerns first. In Rabat where we had to attend the wedding on time, he even did a “dry run” to make sure of the way to the reception area which is in a private residential area. Even had the car washed before going to the wedding.

After knowing our taste and budget, he took us to the best place to shop and eat. Three of our lunches in Meknes, Rabat and Marrakesh were in local restaurants recommended by him. They were all excellent. (Read More…)

April 1 – Morocco as normal

As April comes around, Morocco seems back to its normal self. People are all excited about the new changes they are hearing about from the King and looking forward to the future of Morocco. Our clients continue to arrive in Morocco; feeling safe as they go. Richard just wrote:

“From our point of view we arrived in the country with mixed feelings having seen the troubles in North Africa and the Middle East.  They were centre stage in our mind.  Our friends were advising caution and felt they should look elsewhere.  We ignored there advice as we also relied on the statements coming out of the USA State department, the UK Foreign Service and most important of all the Australian DFAT travel advice. Here the advice had not changed since November 2010 so we felt we should proceed.   Our trip was safe, felt safe and we did not have cause at any point even to consider this issue.  We did see a small demonstration in Casablanca but it was orderly and we were milling around Casablanca’s town centre square as if nothing was happening.” You can read their entire review here.

From our point of view at our office in Fes, Morocco is back to normal life.
